cost to develop. Follow the instructions below if you're not sure what to put in each
field.

but rather a tool for you to use to get an idea of how much your web site might cost if
created by an Eclectic Quick Quote developer.)
Page Count - this
is the total number of pages to be designed and is based on the combined length of all
pages when printed from a browser.
If you have a basic idea for the
layout of your web site, and you've created it using a word processor or desktop
publishing program, you can get an idea of how much it would cost to create your web site
in HTML (Web) format by printing the pages you have. Typically the pages you print
from your word processor or desktop publishing program will be the same length as if they
were printed from a browser, as long as the content is the same. Now that you know
this, use the example below to calculate your page count.
Example:
Print the page listed here using your browser's print feature.
This page is considered to be approximately two and 1/2 pages (using
standard 1/2 inch page margins) because when printed the page content
consumes two full pages plus about a half of a third page. If this
was the only web page to be designed, you would enter "2.5"
in the Page Count field. If you had additional web pages to be designed,
you would use the same method above to estimate their length, then
add all the page lengths together to come up with the total Page
Count. (e.g. if 1st page = 2.5 and 2nd page = 1.25, then enter the
total page count as 3.75.)
Hyperlink Count -
this is the total links to other pages, whether within your own web or pointing to another
web.
For example, to get to this page
you clicked on a hyperlink, which directed you to the same web, but a different page.
Mail To Count -
this is the total number of email links on your page(s).
Email links are hyperlinks that
direct people to their mail system and place your email address in their Mail To field
(e.g. eclectic@waasi.com - try it).
Image Count -
this is the total number of images, or pictures, to be displayed on your page(s). Note:
this estimate does not include image design.
Scanning Count -
If you have pictures, logos, or art work that need to be scanned before being placed on
your page(s), enter the total number in this field.
Order Form (or On-line
Form) Count - If you would like a one page order form prepared that sends you an
email message with the form's contents inserted in the message, enter a 1 in this field.
